Q. What area does Joint Action cover?
A. We are based in Petersfield, Hampshire. We see patients in their own homes within a ten-mile radius. We can arrange to see patients living outside this area, but a supplementary charge will be made to cover extra travelling expenses.
Q. What conditions can Joint Action treat?
A. Joint Action treats all problems affecting movement, mobility, balance and posture. If you're not sure whether we can help you, contact us for more information.
Q. Is the cost of treatment covered by health insurance?
A. All the leading insurance companies, BUPA, AXA PPP, Medisure, etc. will reimburse the cost of treatment with Joint Action, but it is important to check with them first on the limits to reimbursement.
Q. Do I need a doctor's referral for treatment with Joint Action?
A. No you don't, unless you plan to use private health insurance, in which case a doctor's referral letter will be required.
Q. How long is a treatment session with Joint Action and how many sessions will I need?
A. A session lasts between 45-60 minutes. The number of sessions is decided after the initial assessment.
