Q. What area does Joint Action cover?
A. We are based in Petersfield, Hampshire and we treat patients in their own homes within a ten-mile radius. Patients outside this area are charged a supplement to cover extra traveling expenses.
Q. What conditions does Joint Action treat?
A. We see patients with all sorts of disabilities from chronic backache to stroke and everything in between. Our youngest patient is 4 years old our oldest is 99. All have a problem that affects their posture, their balance and their ability to move normally. Q. Is treatment covered by Private Medical Insurance?
A. Most insurance companies cover treatment with Joint Action, but it is important to check with them first on the limits of reimbursement.
Q. Do I need a doctor's referral?
A. Your Private Medical Insurance Company will ask for a doctor's referral before funding treatment. If you are paying for treatment yourself, no referral is necessary.
Q. How long is a treatment session and what does it cost?
A. Each session lasts 45 minutes-1 hour and costs £70. The number of treatments required will be discussed after the initial assessment.
